How to Check Jamb Result 2024 Online or via SMS: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) results are now available and accessible online and offline.
Candidates who took the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam in 2024 can now check their results. The UTME is an annual standardized computer-based test required for admission into Nigerian higher education institutions such as universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is managed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). This yearly computer-based test is required for admission to Nigerian universities, polytechnics, colleges, and other higher education institutions.
Easy Ways To Check JAMB Results Online
All candidates who took part in the 2024 UTME and previous years can now print their original results slip with their passport photograph. To obtain your JAMB result slip, you must pay N1,500.
STEP 1: Navigate to the eFacility site of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) [https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/], and enter your login information.
STEP 2: Find and select the Print Result Slip tab from the list of services.
STEP 3: Choose a payment method and proceed with the transaction.
STEP 4: After making a successful payment, you can view/print your result slip by selecting your exam year and entering your JAMB Registration Number in the appropriate columns.

Navigate to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) website at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEResults.
Enter your Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Registration Number/Phone Number in the required column.
Finally, click the ‘Check My Results’ button to view the notification of your UTME results.
If your JAMB result is released, the official portal will return your JAMB Notification of Result. You can then proceed with printing the outcome.
How to Check JAMB Result 2024 on Phone via SMS
Candidates can now text UTMERESULT (no spaces) to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number they enrolled for (confirm you have a minimum credit balance of N50). You will shortly receive an SMS response. Expect to hear the following responses:
- If a candidate enters a phone number that has not been registered, the response will be: “This phone number was not used for registration.”
- A candidate who has received a result will receive a message that says something like, “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows…” (Additional details provided).
- If a result is withheld, the candidate will receive a “Result Withheld” text message.
- If a candidate is required to provide clarifications or documents, they will receive the following message: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/documents required from you.”
- A candidate who is unable to attend will be marked as “CANDIDATE ABSENT.” They will be notified if their registration number is likewise canceled.
- If a candidate enters the exam venue without authorization, he or she will receive the message “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall.”
Advice to JAMB Candidates Regarding the UTME Result
It should be noted that there are con artists who claim to be able to upgrade JAMB results. We strongly encourage JAMB candidates to avoid such scams because it is hard to change results once they have been checked online or by SMS.
