About the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund
The FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund 2025 provides one-year grants to non-profit organizations focused on improving educational access through sports, inclusion, and community development.
Around 150 organizations will receive support in Cycle I (2026), with funding designed to strengthen programs that tackle educational inequalities and promote safe, inclusive learning environments.
Types of Support Available
Applicants may apply for one of the following:
- General Operating Support
- Program or Project Support
Each organization must serve between 500 and 10,000 beneficiaries, and funding requests must be less than 50% of the annual organizational budget.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund 2025, applicants must:
- Be a legally registered non-profit in their country of operation
- Have at least 3 years of financial records or audited reports
- Directly implement all proposed project activities
- Demonstrate financial stability and community engagement
Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following key areas:

- Tackling financial obstacles to education
- Improving school infrastructure and accessibility
- Promoting inclusion for girls and children with disabilities
