  • You must be able to get and maintain an adequate level of ADF security clearance, you must have resigned from your present military service and will not be expected to conduct any Reserve service, and
  • You must be eligible and willing to become an Australian citizen.

Available Positions For The Ongoing Australia Army Recruitment

The vacancies in the Australian Army are classified as “Officer” or “other ranks,” as detailed below.

General Service Officer (GSO)

You must have completed a minimum level of education equivalent to an Australian Higher School Certificate (Year 12), as well as military commissioning training comparable to that provided by the Royal Military College – Duntroon.

Specialist Service Officer (SSO)
