Following the state governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Gombe State Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) has begun administering aptitude tests to around 5000 degree applicants to pick 1000 successful candidates for employment as new teachers.
To focus on hiring the 1000 new teachers, the commission had finished the transfer of the teachers from SUBEB to the Ministry of Education as of June.

Before being allowed into the test rooms, all eligible candidates from the state’s 11 local government areas must present a printout of their application slips, their degree, their NYSC certificates, and letters of LG indigeneship. Special accommodations have also been made for candidates who are physically challenged.
It should be remembered that the Gombe State Governor, Muhammed Inuwa Yahaya, authorized the Gombe State Teachers’ Service Commission to continue the hiring process that began in January 2022 in April of this year.
